Estepona is a unique place in that it has something to offer its visitors for all their tastes and preferences. Still, the biggest attraction is the wide variety of beaches. When you go to a beach, look for a blue flag on the beach.

Blue Flag beaches

A blue flag is an annual award granted to beaches with the best ecological conditions and the most competitive services for its visitors, such as showers, telephone booths, souvenir kiosks, and covered parking. The following beaches have had the blue flags for so long that they are worth visiting if you happen to be in the area:

Playa del Cristo

Located only a few minutes’ walk from the harbor, this is the best place for families with kids. You can spend a long afternoon in its cozy beach restaurants while your children are enjoying themselves in the play area under the professional eye of local lifeguards.

Playa de la Rada
