We love the Costa del Sol! So much so we recommend living here all year round. There is so much to see and do with an amazing quality.

Here’s our top 3 helpful hints and tips for purchasing in the region.

  1. Do your research on the area. Each town has something slightly different to offer. Perhaps search for a town that offers a great Marina if you are into sailing or the best beaches in walking distance.
  2. Don’t waste time when you find the one! So often we see people miss out on their dream property due to hesitancy. What we have found is that the saying ‘when you know, you know,’ is very true. Don’t let that dream property get away because you feel obliged to wait just in case there happens to be another dream property that comes along. We can assure you if you truly love it, that won’t change by waiting a few days.

Royal Palms Mijas development

A  Groundbreaking ceremony on 25th May 2021 marked the beginning of an exciting residential project on the hillside above Mijas Costa.

The event was attended by the Hon. Mayor of Mijas Don José González, representatives of the developers, One Eden and members of local and provincial authorities where a time capsule containing daily newspapers and other timely items was buried on the site of the future show apartment.

One Eden, whose distinctive resort areas distinguish them from many other developers, selected Mijas Costa as one of their first projects on the Costa del Sol as this area attracts both a diverse national and international clientele who are seeking a Mediterranean lifestyle with easy access to Europe and beyond.

Antonio Sardina, Managing Director of One Eden commented that “Our team has over 25 years’ experience of building community focused developments over 6 countries and will provide a resort style living experience, which combined with stunning sea views, extensive leisure areas and modern design, will set a new standard in this area.  We pride ourselves on providing a vast array of facilities which allow residents to work, socialise and live in a community environment.”

The completed Royal Palms Mijas development will provide over 900 new homes and will include apartments, townhouses and villas, as well as a public area for leisure, educational and sports facilities. Phase I will be launching very soon and already has a long list of those waiting to receive details of this innovative project. Preliminary details can be found at oneeden.com.
